Born in 1945, Gudule completed her first novella in 1957 and her work was first published in 1987. Since then she has published over 200 novellas and become a multi-award winning writer whose accolades include the Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire, the Grand Prix Jeunesse and the Prix Isador.
